The PERGAP project invites applications for student assistant positions at the Max Planck Institute for Social Law and Social Policy in Munich.
The successful candidates will contribute to the construction of a comparative database examining social policies and public perceptions across Europe and other regions. Responsibilities include literature searches and syntheses, dataset collection and coding, and assistance in preparing academic outputs on subjects such as inequality, redistribution, public opinion, and social stratification. Student assistants will also support the project’s digital communication through its website and social media platforms.
Requirements:
- Current enrolment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a social science-related discipline at a German university
- Strong academic performance
- Demonstrated interest in interdisciplinary research
- Team-oriented work ethic
- Very good command of English (additional languages welcome)
