Program of Doctoral Workshop on Comparative Social Policy | Universitat Pompeu Fabra
The Second Doctoral Workshop on Comparative Social and Public Policy, hosted by the Department of Political and Social Sciences at Universitat Pompeu Fabra on May 8–9, 2025 was a great success with 18 PhD candidates from different national and international institutions presenting their work at UPF. We had engaging and stimulating discussions with peers and senior scholars on issues surrounding welfare attitudes, social policy reforms, labor market policy, and migration – themes closely related to the work of the PERGAP project.
We would like to thank all participants for joining the engaging discussions and all senior scholars who provided valuable feedback to the work presented. A special thanks goes to our UPF PhD candidates: Juliana Fornasier, Mireia López Álvarez, Florencia Olivares, and Javier Sánchez Busó who organised this workshop. Hope to see you all next year!
