The PERGAP research team, based in Barcelona and Munich, had their first in-person workshop at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) in Barcelona from 30 November to 02 December. The workshop brought together the multicultural and multidisciplinary team of PERGAP which is led by Dr. Simone Schneider and jointly implemented by UPF in Barcelona and the Max Planck Institute of Social Law and Social Policy (MPISOC) in Munich. Team members include Roeland Endtz (UPF), Javier Sánchez Busó (UPF), Mehdi Mikani (UPF), and Mei Araki (MPISOC) who met for the first time in person. The research team came together to strategise the implementation of topics fundamental to PERGAP.
